And there were a lot of taped calls that she had.
And so as soon as she was willing to tape those calls and be on the law enforcement side, I think it was pretty clear early on to law enforcement that she was not part of it.
But it's such a great story, right?
The media picked up on it and was able to really drag her through the mud for an extended time.
Yeah, I think as part of the media, you know, everybody kind of knows what,
a good story is.
They carry with them a huge responsibility of how they impact that story of what they do to have that story go in the right direction, in the wrong direction.
But there's also incredible pressure from networks to
to get these stories to get to the heart of these stories to get the most salacious things of these stories so i think with every journalist there's always this push and pull of what is ethical what is real and what's going to get the ratings and sometimes you know especially 20 years ago it was very these things weren't talked about quite as much as they are now and so getting the ratings was was one of the more important things so you do think she felt like she had created

I mean, like there was, there was pressure on Scott Peterson at this point, you know, and everybody was kind of talking about this.
I don't know that she necessarily had, has any guilty feelings about.
I hope not.
