Gilts and Burns did open higher, um, and that was more a reflection of um cat the catch-up from the sell-off that we saw late in yesterday's session in Treasuries.
Um so they did open higher, but they did they did unwind that that as a as the session progressed.
So, you know, th while you're saying they are they are higher, I I would reflect that if you look at intraday moves, they actually ended up

And well below where they began.
Yeah, so um yeah, a a small a small easing as you said, so it was down point seven on the month.
Uh but you know obviously still above fifty, so still pointing to to um growth um rather than than an an easing in in growth.
Uh and the reading remains sort of that that reading of 53.3 remains near its four-year high.
Um so it's it's still pretty solid.

Across the indicators, there was an easing in production, new orders and supplier deliveries.
Um, but you did see an improvement in employment and and inventory investment.
But of w I think of note, what sort of um was was the thing that people were focused on was the prices paid measure.
So that it is that eased quite considerably.
It is.
It it was down nine point one points, um still at a very elevated level of seventy three.
But that drop was the largest single monthly drop since since mid-2020-22.
So yeah, the reading is still high, but I think that that theme that we've seen overnight of you know easing in measures on inflation, which is in line with that fall that we've you know we've obviously seen in the oil price.
