My thing is I don't want to make drastic changes unless I have to.

But when it comes to fat loss specifically, the way that you would use the add, don't subtract, not subtract, or the add, don't restrict, the goal of that would be displacement by addition, right?
So you displace the calories by adding in more filling, like protein and veggies.
