Yes, and then I would also even argue that a lot of the maybe like the red flaggy diet culture behavior is more normalized there too.
At least back when I was living there.

So I don't know how much times have changed since then, but that was my experience growing up there.
So there was a heavy emphasis placed on especially girls, women being thin.
where I would have a friend's mom say, oh, I haven't seen you in a while.
You look great.
You look even better if you lose 10 pounds or like, you know, four kilos or whatever.
Like, and I was 14 years old.
14 years old.
And at the time, of course, you're not old enough for your brain.
Your brain's not like the level yet where you're like, oh, you're the problem for saying this to me.
You think, oh, you must be right.
Maybe.
And then the next day you stop eating lunch.
It's a long story.
I moved around so much.
So I was born in Korea and then I left when I was two.
