some of the games were only just scraping through and we probably felt like we weren't playing our best netball so I think we're still trying to build throughout the season but I don't know I feel like we probably in the last couple of years have performed best when we're the underdog sort of team which happened last year so I think we're trying to take some inspiration from that it would have been nice to just go top of the ladder finish and straight to the grand final I don't think anyone is denying that but I think

Obviously, Dai has been in the environment for a long time under Simone and what we were doing last year and the previous years was working.

pretty well obviously we have to grow if we want to keep um getting better and moving with the league but um yeah not too much has changed so much off the court I get um on the court so I feel like that brings um I don't know just a different lens um she's more of an attacking focus coach whereas Simone's more of a defensive one um yeah not too much has changed I feel like it's been great having Kate Upton come in as an assistant coach um

She's, you know, been a really hands-on coach in the pathway.

So she brings that sort of development and technical, tactical mindset to the game.

But no, it's been, you know, pretty similar.

But yeah.

I think we have to cherish every ball we get off the Thunderbirds.

I think they are quite clinical.

They don't give up ball much.

They've got superstars essentially in every position of the court.

I think their whole starting seven bar one player is an international player.

So when we win ball off them, we have to make sure we convert off it.

And I think that's what we did well on the weekend.

I think for us as well in the,

shooting circle they've got those jamaican defenders who are the best in the world i don't think there's any denying that um so we just have to make sure we get their hands away from the ball well it would be significant to go back to back as you said at the start of the interview it's it's special it doesn't happen a lot no i would love to go back to back i think um you know

it's hard to win one, but to win two is even harder and do it in a row.
