I think although there are so many different types of businesses and you absolutely don't need a platform to start a business, there's some businesses that require distribution and it's so clever to build a personal brand or an audience to be able to sell something.

However, what I think has been amazing about this idea of audience equals value, which then equals a springboard to either start a business or invest in another business or get equity to sell someone else's product to your audience.

is that if you zoom out and look at the amount of creators there are globally, majority of influencers back in the day and also people who really lean into content, a lot of them are women.

And I feel like this kind of move towards an entrepreneurs being the new business owners and being some of the most successful business owners in the next five, ten years means that there's a lot more women who all of a sudden are waking up to the idea that they could be business owners and that they could make money through business.
