Former Uvalde police officer Adrian Gonzalez had been accused of 29 counts of child endangerment related to his response to the 2022 Robb Elementary School shooting.

Defense attorney Nico LaHood spoke with reporters after the decision.

The verdict ends the first attempt to hold a law enforcement officer criminally responsible for the delayed response to the shooting that killed 19 students and two teachers.
