And then that's just worth like noting, like, oh, okay, interesting.
Or maybe you notice, oh, I actually do it.
You know, this actually is kind of an interesting subject, right?
Like, or, oh, you know what?
Like, this actually can help me achieve things later that I care about achieving in the world.
And that's a motivation.
So what I would say is just do genuine reflection.
Like, you may actually have no other motivation.
And that's worth knowing about yourself.
Like, you know, it's worth knowing about what you're really like.
rather than just sort of think of yourself as this idealized being, right?
But there's a decent chance you realize there are other motivations.
And then if there are, you could try to soak those.
You can try to actually start leveraging those forms of motivation.
Well, I think it depends.
So let's say you're like, oh, actually, I think it's actually just really, really interesting to learn about.
Then you could start thinking about, well, how do I approach it in a way that is also taking into account my interest in it, is allowing myself to get excited and enjoy the process of learning it.
Maybe I'm going to have a project to do a certain thing with it or understand it in a certain way that I actually feel some excitement around.
rather than, let's say, try to approach it in the most efficient way possible, which might just satisfy the dirty fuel of like, okay, I've ticked this off and nobody's going to think I'm an idiot for not knowing it.
