But if you look at his playoff numbers in the BCHL, they're almost identical to his regular season numbers.
And then he just kind of took off
from the start in Brantford, and then in the playoffs, he exploded.
He's a big-time player, and as we all know, big-time players come to play in the biggest games, the biggest moments, and he's an absolute gamer, a guy that drags others into the fight.
So no surprise from us.
We're just so excited for him, like I said, and appreciative of everything he's done for the Bulldogs.

You know, and actually, as it kind of got closer, you know, Zach and I had a lot of chats this week or, you know, are they going to do it or they not?
Obviously, with his dad being the head coach there and Zach played for Manny and knows him really well.
You know, ultimately, I think they did the right thing.
They took the best player in their mind available and a kid that.
really has grown up Canucks, everything, and dreaming of playing there.
And I think as an NHL team, specifically a Canadian market, having players that understand the meaning of wearing that jersey and that logo and that crest, that means more than anything.
So they got a kid that loves their hockey team since he was a little kid.
Now he gets to play for them.
No, you know, I can't speak on Jay.
I never had that conversation with him.
But, you know, the one thing that some people have said, and I'll reiterate, is if there are two people in hockey that can do it, it's the Malhotras.
They're such pros.
Everything they do is professional.
