But, you know, what I think is so special about Gary is just how much he cares.
You know, he's been there as a player personally.
He's also had, you know, his son Noah who graduated.
He played for the Bulldogs and he played for Sudbury, you know, in Sound and graduated.
He's going to college hockey this year.
His other son Sam plays in Oshawa.
You know, so he sees it from different lenses.
He understands what these kids are going through because he's got kids
his own kids in in the same mix he's also um you know experienced himself as a player and and now he's experiencing experiencing it as a um you know as a as a an upper management executive within the league and um he's just so supportive of these kids he's so caring for them um really about you know he cares about everyone in our organization and he's such a great um
resource and person for me to not only help our kids get ready to play, but to bounce ideas off of and talk things through and just have his perspective, which is so meaningful to me and to our entire organization.
You talk about building a good program.
I think programs are
are built through people.
And when you have really good people within programs and you empower them to do their job to the best of their ability, that creates a successful environment, which allows kids to perform at a high level.
So from our standpoint, we're very, very, very honored to have Gary Roberts a part of our organization.
And me as a young manager, I'm just very grateful to have him as a support system for not only our players, but for also myself.
