He's a great man and I'm really grateful to have the opportunity to learn from him.
Max is one of the most special players I've watched play.
You know, he's a natural center.
I always look for players similar to my brother because you can teach different things in hockey.
That it factor, the compete level mixed with IQ and skill.
You have those three things, you're going to make it.
And he has all three of those qualities.
He's a special talent.
He plays a very, very heavy game.
I mean, to be 16 years old playing in the Dell Tier 1 league.
uh that's unheard of uh youngest player to ever score in that league um you know and and for us uh you know we think he's a really special player uh he's a top 10 pick in the 2027 draft no doubt about it um and it you know for for my standpoint in terms of drafting him um you know i say this i say this truthfully jeff i hope i never see him um and and the reason i say that is because
If I don't, if I don't, it means he's, he's in a great spot.
He's thriving and he's having success.
And that's all I want for these kids.
Um, in saying that, if, if we become an option for him, you know, that would be the most incredible thing ever for us.
And, and I believe for him too, because, you know, we, we have an understanding on how to develop, you know, lead hockey players, um,
He is, no doubt about it, special and a really great kid.
But I know he's focused on starting with Adler Mannheim, and I hope he has a fantastic season with them.
And should he choose to start his career in North America a little bit earlier, we're here and we're an option and we'd love to have him.
But we want what's best for him, and if that's staying there until he goes to the NHL, fantastic.
