GameStop has a network of stores all over the country, and people can use those stores to bring in collectibles and have things authenticated and such.
eBay's tried similar versions of that, more with decluttering your closet and garage, like bringing your golf clubs to a FedEx location.
There was some big initiative they had 10 years ago.
So it's not really a fresh idea.
And you can just think of all the stumbles Amazon has had with physical store space.
Like it doesn't automatically work and it's not a fresh, innovative idea.
So, I mean, it's it's something, you know, potentially worth exploring.
But there's also a lot of reasons to not get too excited about it.
It's big.
I mean, Adobe's predicting 9% growth from the four-day Prime Day period last year, which was July.
You know, it's always tricky to compare Prime Day to the year earlier because the date moves around, and this is going to be the second year that they do a four-day sale.
But Adobe is predicting a 9% lift, which is pretty sizable.
And a lot of that can be, you know...
It's counterintuitive, even though there's a lot of things weighing on consumers.
Sometimes that compels them to kind of save up money and hold off a big ticket purchase for a big deal, big deal period, which can which can raise spending.
And Walmart and Target both have overlapping sales.
So there's going to be just a lot of a lot of deals going on those four days.
