No, I mean, the morning I heard it, it was definitely a surprise.

I think going into the year and maybe the start, we were thinking something's going to happen.

Just a lot of defensemen, a lot of good defensemen in Nashville.

But no, I just got the housing letter and was getting settled in.

And then, yeah, I played a game.

And the next morning, my agent's like,

well here we go so uh yeah um no i didn't know and then quick turnaround up here but it's been awesome it's been a great group to be part of so far and uh just definitely exciting now i watched a little nationally played a lot of 70 yeah uh the owners did a couple years ago but haven't done it it's been mostly so you've been paired with the guy you've got some history with so how does it help you having ty emerson around it's great i think just being a guy i can text before i'm here like hey what's going on what's the schedule stuff like that and then

Yeah, being paired with him right away, knowing his game, and just knowing how to play with him is making it a lot better.

So, yeah, I'm lucky there's a guy like Embi here, and lucky we have some history.

Yeah, but everyone really has been helpful in helping out.

No, I think when the coaches are going over the systems, it's pretty similar.

We had a couple like D zone, pretty much the same thing.

We just Nashville and push them down or push them up here.

We push them down.

So no, I think it's a lot of the same, just a little, little small tendencies that I'll have to get used to.

But, uh,

And I think Embiid and all the decor are doing well to help me out.

And, yeah, I think we're getting close.

Yeah, I think it's – you know, I take pride in my skating, so I think it's just trying to use my speed to complement their games, but also kind of knowing my role and, hey, let's get the puck in their hands.
