I suffered from severe depression and anxiety shortly after my child's death. There were days where I could barely get out of bed or even care for myself. Even under the care of a psychologist and a psychiatrist, my depression and anxiety continue to negatively impact me and my career.
I found myself withdrawn from my coworkers, overly sensitive, anxious about minor tasks, and unmotivated to do a job that I once loved.
