It was before early 95 was when Super League came, so I wasn't quite

established or I wasn't established, you know, and they're signing all these players.

And I remember it was two weeks into the

into the first season in 95 and John Mone tells us, tells me and there's two other, I think Joe Bargana was another one, to go to this hotel and you're going to meet this guy.

And, you know, he just said, you know, don't miss the boat on this one.

And I think my sign on contract with the Warriors first one was like $3,000.

And then I think if I had waited sort of maybe a couple of months, and when I had started playing footy, it might have been 200,000.

It was a week later from Graham Lowe, who was coaching the Cowboys.

He said, Stacey, do you want to come to the Cowboys?

And yeah, the offer was... Eye-watering.
