Party, yeah.

He was chasing me, right?

So, it was a difficult time, really tough time, and the club was broken, and there was no money going into it.

I remember meeting with Matthew Ridge and Eric Watson at the time saying, look, we're going to go in and try and see if we can get the club sorted and buy the club, but we were also having meetings internally.

And the internal meetings were always like, yep, we're going to get paid, you're going to get paid, and it'll happen, and then next month come and nothing would happen.

And it was really frustrating at the time, and it was right at the end.

The season had finished, and we were going to the World Cup, and we had a meeting as a group.

going to go into the detail around the meeting but the meeting went like let's all stay together on this one and but this was coming from certain people um at the time and and again i was relatively relatively young as well and i had a lot of players coming to me talking some advice what do we do what do we do and then we're like okay i feel like you know you just got to look after yourself here number one and get you because we've been promised so much and nothing had been delivered

So when the club disbanded, I signed with the New Zealand Warriors at the time, and then a lot of the influx of the younger guys came through.

A couple of the older boys moved on, because there was no club.

Everyone had to get something sorted, and nothing was being sorted with the old regime at the time.

um yeah uh very fortunate that um the club were able to survive a tough period i think other players that were around in that period talk about like gym equipment was being so you come back to pre-season and there's like not even footies everything had been taken yeah we had nothing like yeah um daniel anderson was the coach um and i remember meeting daniel for the first time and i never didn't even know what daniel looked like i walked into the gym there was nothing there was no he was at the point chef bowling club as well

So yeah, well, he was dressed like he was in a bowling club because he had beach shorts on and jandals.

And then I met Daniel and first thing he said to me, he goes, I just need to teach you how to tackle.

And yeah, so look, it was a tough time.

And we got through.
