So if I want to buy a washing machine, it's like $500 this week, but I know it's going to be
four hundred and ninety dollars next week and four hundred and eighty dollars if I can wait another week.
And so then I just don't buy.
I just sit around being like, well, they're going to keep cutting the price so I don't have to buy anything.
People stop buying things are just waiting around for the price to drop, which means companies stop selling things, which means they stop making so much money, which means they stop hiring and they can start laying people off.
And anyway, that's the deflationary spiral from kind of just the consumery part.
I've even never heard that.
No, this is new territory for me.
I don't know about deflators.

And that is...
A, hard on all of us because it means prices are rising.
Prices are also rising faster than wages right now, which is very bad.
And the third thing is it kind of increases the possibility that we're going to see interest rates go up.
