say the Fed funds rates, that's the rate at which like basically that's the bank's lending rate.

So then that gets passed down to us.

No, it is.

And I

I have to say I I was a big fan of of Bernanke, of Yellen, of Powell, and how transparent they were.

But I actually thought that Walsh gave a pretty solid argument for

Against transparency, essentially, against what they call forward guidance, which is sort of telling people where you're headed in the next three months, six months, all that.

So he gave two reasons.

And I thought they were pretty good.

Number one was risk.

He was like, if we give all this forward guidance to banks and financial institutions, they feel pretty confident that they know where interest rates are going.

So then they feel comfortable taking more risk.

They will take risks, lend money based on what they think, and they can ignore real potential.

you know, red flags in the market.

They can get over their skis, they can over lend, which can cause bubbles, which can cause bubbles to burst.

I thought that was fair.

And argument number two Can we pause on

one because there's a the second one I thought was most compelling.
