Yeah, well, first of all I think it's important to support your scouts.

They work so hard and I uh I love the group that we have so it's an opportunity to get together with them.

Uh but it's also good, I think, to see what's on the horizon, not just maybe we won't have access to these players where where we're picking.

Um, but some of 'em will still be available.

So I like to get familiar with the players and the other thing is you don't necessarily draft them but you n you remember them from

uh where they were at this age and a couple years down the road a lot of these players change hands and become available.

So I like to have an opportun you know in a tournament like this, when you get to see all of the the top players from their country playing at one place.

It's great you spend um a few days and you get to see everybody a couple times and it it's it's better than trying to chase each guy around uh during the season.

So uh for those reasons I

I've always enjoyed coming to the Link.

I think it's a great tournament and it kicks off the scouting season for this next year.

Oh yeah, no for sure.

I mean the the the reality is they're they've done a great job the last several years and you know, maybe they haven't had this the ultimate success to to win gold medals, but they're if they're not winning the gold, they're right there.

I mean a lot of these

elite tournaments, you know, it comes down to one play here or there and you don't always come out on the end you want, but I think there's no question that the the Canadian team is incredibly talented.

They've done a great job developing players.

I mean, like you just said, look at the draft at the top end of the draft, there's a ton of Canadian players there.

So um you know it was fun to see the show those two kids put on the other night.

Um that was against Sweden.

I mean Sweden's a great
