Talk about that in, you know, in some of the examples of clients that you gave on the stories where it really struck me when when people just started crying.
just started crying um as a as a release and um it was really interesting how you wrote that um how you just let them cry yes let them cry because that is truly a release um
My doctoral advisor when I was getting my doctorate was Dr. Robert Ten Bensel, international expert in the area of child abuse and neglect.
And we did a lot of teaching together in that area.
And my focus was prevention.
And his was from a medical perspective,
And I can honestly tell you that in all the teachings that we did, the word trauma never came up.
I mean, it just wasn't part of it.
It was called child abuse and neglect or sexual abuse.
It was maybe more of a medical diagnosis then.
But trauma was never part of our vocabulary.
It really, really, which is really, I find personally, from my experience, very interesting.
All right.
So the other thing I wanted to bring up as it relates to Clarence and community is stuff that goes on around us.
Okay, so you might have been brought up, I'll just use you as an example, if you don't mind, Tom, you might have been brought up in a perfect family.
Okay, let's just call it perfect as an illustration here.
But think about all the stuff that's going on around us now.
War, political angst, I'll just call it that, okay?
And what I have noticed is that how people react to it.
