They just didn't run the football.

And Nussmeyer got bruised and battered and didn't even finish the season.
So I think that's the first thing you've got to shore up because –
Lane is this fun, putting their arms up in the air when the ball's in the air and seeing a touchdown before it happens and all that.
He also is great at running the football,
that's what they need back at LSU.
You go down there, those people, they want to play defense and run the football.
That's what LSU people want.
That's how they won national championships.
That's what Coach Saban brought.
