A new version of uh Aave because we can actually extend the protocol with this hub and spoke architecture, and uh spoke effect spokes are effectively lending markets and hubs are where the liquidity is stored.
So the the idea here is that uh it is sort of like a lending protocol that can be extended to any use cases for institutions, uh fintechs um and and more of these.
traditional use cases beyond what we're doing today with uh with in in DeFi.
Yeah, I mean Ave uh existing V tree uh infrastructure has seen multiple market cycles with um market or credit cycles, how do you wanna call?
I mean if you uh we you know Aave has been really resilient during really turbulent times.
Like if we look into uh the October uh tenth uh tenth of the October last year, uh where we had a
lot of um wind down unwinds in uh in the uh crypto space um also during the FTX and a lot of decentralized lenders um going underwater um and the early sort of uh uh DeFi days as well.
So uh during these uh past years a lot of that uh risk management experience has accumulated for for Aave uh quite extensively and and DeFi in
In generally, actually.
And when it comes to development as well, a lot of that there's very less actually any sort of issues in DeFi protocol smart contracts in generally.
They are actually third-party dependencies that are related to more traditional security that might have impact across the DeFi space, like we saw saw recently.
In terms of the RV V3, obviously it allows to create any kinds of uh markets, um, have the uh risk management features, allows um also isolate isolation or um uh collateralization where collaterals aren't borrowed.
So it it really depends on where is the demand and what kind of markets to to create for uh different audiences.
And uh V4 in in
Return is sort of uh building to the existing audience of of DeFi, uh providing capital efficiency to to
these really native uh DeFi use cases, but at the same time recognizing that the assets that we are gonna onboard into uh Ave and D centrist finance are uh more issuer based assets.
And what I mean that is not not just only stable coins but tokenized assets.
And tokenized assets have different sort of uh risk characteristics compared to let's say native assets like Bitcoin Ethereum because for example you
uh on chain but you need to sort out unwinding and liquidations.
And with Ave um uh V4 we introduced particular uh features like risk premiums where you can actually price the risk directly into the collateral um without affecting all the borrowers on uh borrowing that stablecoin.
