And I guess Leeds, in some ways, was a more surprising club to vote against.

The other thing about all of those clubs are that they are all more likely to be looking at the second tier of UEFA competition.

And that means that under the Premier League SCR rules, they will be capped at 70%.

but won't have the benefit of the Champions League.

So it's fine if you've got 70% cap and you're getting 80 to 100 million pounds of revenue.

But not if you're in the Conference League.

But if you're in the Conference League, even if you win it, you're probably doing 20 million euros before bonuses, right?

See, before costs.

You can well understand why those clubs were less in favour of SCR, but...

There needs to be some scheme, ultimately.

You know, there's no one size that fits all clubs here.

So they had to come up with something.

And ultimately, they chose SCR, largely because UEFA have already put it in place.

And I think what's happened over time is the Premier League has kind of...

lost its will to go to war with its clubs.

And on the back of what happened with Everton and Nottingham Forest, which were clearly almost brutal punishments for those clubs, particularly for Everton in their scenario, and now with a knock-on of then a whole load of litigation that's following...

I think the Premier League said, look, we just can't do this.

You can't have a situation where we're spending £50 to £100 million a year taking action against our clubs.

And put City to one side for now, we may want to touch on it, but the City case is different from the ones that we're talking about here.

They were starting to run a kind of constant, very expensive legal process every season.
