I felt that on my first session.
Because my first session, the publisher that I had been talking to really early on, he set me up with Jackson Free, who's an amazing writer in Nashville.
And then...
Oh, my God, I'm blanking on his name.
But he's the singer, like, for the band Nightly.
And so that was my session.
It was with them two.
And I had never been in a session.
And I just remember being like, wow, these guys are so good.
And they, like, actually know what they're doing.
Like, I didn't even really know that a chorus needed to, like, have different chords or, like, you know what I mean?
Like, I had listened to songs, so I kind of knew.
But I didn't really understand that from, like, a writing perspective.
And so I just felt that in that session.
Like, wow, there's so many things I didn't know.
And, like, these guys know everything.
