Stephanie (caller, nurse with babysitting mall story)

She said, you were paying her for the cat litter.

And I said, have they spent $340 at the mall today?

And I thought he was going to have a stroke.

We're sitting in there trying to figure out like, what are we going to do?

We've dealt with a lot of things with babysitters, but this was a first for us.

And she's family kind of.

So what do we do?

He texts her and he's like, hey, Stephanie, let me know that you guys spent three hundred forty dollars.

That's about three hundred more dollars than we were planning on spending today.

Can you take some of this stuff back?

And she was like, well, I wasn't there when they opened it, so I don't even know what can be taken back.

She got pretty defensive.

There was like 24 to 48 hours of some pretty strange texting that went on.

Well, no, she included him in a group text to both of us.

He won't answer his phone.

My husband's like really good at resolving conflict.

So he was like, I'm just going to call him and talk to him on the phone.

They wouldn't answer.

I interview the kids separately because I'm like, I need to know what happened today.
