The school did nothing to protect me.
I do think that they are culpable.
I all of a sudden had this amazing group of women around me.
And it was the first time in my entire life that I had girlfriends, like a good supportive group of girlfriends.
We all support each other.
We all want the best.
And that is so genuine.
They don't see me as a victim or survivor of sexual abuse.
They see me as who I am today.
I am truly happy for the first time.
Unfortunately, 20-something years after this happened to me, it still happens.
No kid should have to go through this.
It wasn't you.

You were manipulated.
You were groomed.
