Think about, hey, what skill set could I go do by coming over to this part of the lattice that would eventually maybe get me up here?

Can I develop that skill set right now?

What opportunities maybe didn't exist a year ago, two years ago, five years ago, exist today that if I take advantage of them, they would put me on this part of the lattice?

Doesn't matter where you ultimately want to go, but this is a phenomenal time to really think through your lattice of growth, your advancement path, and make sure you're taking advantage of the opportunities that are there for you.

Not too long ago, at some time in the last week or so, I saw a post online and it was an organization or a company talking about what an exciting time this is right now and how up they were from this time last year.

And they put on there some sales numbers and we're just really celebrating, hey, we're up.

This is great news.

As I scrolled through some of the comments, a couple that I noticed were those negative Nancys.

They kind of went on, and there was a handful of folks that made negative comments.

Now look, you know what?

Up is up.

Even if you're flat, but you're still standing, that, in my mind, is a win.

If you put yourself in a position where you're up, even better and good for you.

Let's all be honest.

Life is hard enough as it is.

We get kicks in the shin from all over the place.
