And then almost half say, and I don't think I'm going to have enough for as long as I expect I'm going to live in retirement.

The PlayStation 5 Pro will cost $900 starting April 2nd.

That's a $150 increase.

Traditionally, game systems get cheaper as they get older.

But the nearly six-year-old original PlayStation 5 is also going up $100.

Sony blames the price increases on, quote, "...pressures in the global economic landscape."

That is likely referring in part to tariffs, since the systems are manufactured overseas.

This is also potentially the latest sign of AI making computers more expensive to build.

Data centers have gobbled up and raised the price of the memory chips that computers like video game consoles also need.

Microsoft also raised prices on its Xbox line in September.

Builder confidence in the market for new single-family homes fell to 36.

Anything below 50 is considered a poor market.

The index dropped one point.

The National Association of Home Builders runs the survey and blames the decline in part on high construction costs.

Homebuyers also are not showing up to buy new homes, even as builders offer more incentives like price cuts.

36% of builders cut prices this month by 6% on average.

More homes are needed to help lower home prices further.

Redfin recently reported Americans need to earn about $110,000 a year to afford a typical home.
