Average gas prices peaked around $4.50 in May, but the ceasefire between the U.S.
and Iran brought those prices down.
Now with the ceasefire over and fighting intensifying, prices are climbing again.

Consumer prices in June were up 3.5 percent from a year earlier, higher than the Federal Reserve wants, but lower than May's high.
Prices in June were down 0.4 percent from a month earlier.
The decrease primarily comes down to the main driving force behind inflation in recent months, energy prices.
They fell 5.7 percent in June from a month earlier.
Gas prices at the end of June were about 71 cents lower than they were during the May peak, and they've remained steady since.
But renewed conflict between the U.S.
and Iran could send those prices back up.
Strip-away food and energy prices and so-called core inflation for the 12 months ending in June was 2.6 percent.
