No, you just have to understand, we've played 56 games, we've had two and a half weeks of pre-season.

To come back and ask players to play three games in seven days is silly.

If you do that, you're going to get injured straight away.

The other teams are ahead of us in terms of weeks and in terms of games played, and that's fine.

We knew that coming into the season.

We also have to respect and understand that players are not robots, and you have to protect them at times as well.

I'd have top players, that's why we wanted them at the football club, I think we've seen that, and they'll only get better.

Like I said, Friday's our fourth game, and I don't think you'll see the best of any of our signings until the summertime, because they're still getting used to what we do and how we do it.

So, yeah, they're good players, that's the reason we wanted them here, but they'll only get better as we go.

Of course, that's why you have experienced top players that have been around the game a long time.

That's why you have them here and they've helped drive the standards at this football club.

It's really important how young players, all of our young players learn from our experienced players and vice versa.

So that's a really important part both on and off the pitch.

If you look back throughout the years, we've always had the balance of youth and experience and understanding when to play them, when to expose them, when to push them and when to protect them and take them out.
