I think it's an amazing medium.
It's my favorite of all the stuff I've done.
I love radio.
I love sports radio.
I love the immediacy of it, the pulse of the city kind of stuff when it's good.
But
Yeah, like nostalgia is no refuge anymore, right?
Like I can't say, boy, I remember when I was great on radio.
Man, if something happened, everybody tuned in from their car.
And they don't anymore.
You know, the pandemic kind of pushed that over the cliff in a lot of ways.
That was kind of the last straw.
But it was a lot of terrestrial radio was on life support at that point.
And, you know, but I think that kind of the town square aspect of it.
Um, which is different than, you know, like I used to write a newspaper column and, you know, think, well, people pick up the paper in the morning to see what I think, you know, they're like hours after the event.
That's not true anymore either.
Right.
A lot of stuff, a lot of stuff has changed.
But sports radio is a particular space.
And the people who are really good at it are real artists.
