Pat's.
And delighted to say I'm joined as ever during the week on the LOI pod by Gareth McGlynn and Vinnie Perth.
And Vinnie, we enjoyed that one, didn't we?
Yeah, I also spoke to Danny Rogers, the St.
Pat's goalkeeper after that game.
You can check out the interview if you've missed it on the Off the Ball social channels.
Great guy, Danny Rogers, I have to say.
And he's really had to bide his time sitting on the bench.
He was out for about five months with an injury.
and got back just in time to take Joe Anang's place while Mr. Anang is over at the World Cup.
I'm sure he was celebrating last night after Ghana's draw with England.
But a really good performance by Danny Rodgers.
Tough for him to have to sit out.
Someone else who impressed me on the night from a defensive perspective, and look, I'm sure he was probably frustrated,
that they conceded the two goals late on but I was going to throw this one at you Gareth McIlroy Sligo Rover still just 21 years of age I've been kind of keeping an eye on this guy for the last couple of years I think he only did his leaving shirt was it the year before last he's from Burnfoot up in Donegal are you familiar with the area yourself Gareth?
Yeah, I think the one thing I've noticed about him, Vinnie, in the way he's come on the last couple of years, and I think John Russell has been really good in how he's slowly kind of brought him into the team.
And as Gareth's saying there, he's kind of getting a regular run of games now this season.
But even watching him against Pat's there on Friday night, you can see he's learning the ropes of being a proper top centre-back and reading the game, his positional sense, that kind of thing.
Do you feel that's come on a bit with him?
Very interesting indeed.
