Writing on the case of Trevon Martin, you look at a number of attacks on Trevon's character perpetuated by the right as a means of legitimating what happened to him.
Without wanting to deny that these attacks are themselves racist, you argue, along with both Zizek and Afro pessimism, that the liberal response to these attacks reveal the limitations of liberal anti-racism, since it fails to get at and in certain ways reifies the underlying pathology that caused such an event in the first place.
So can you unpack this possible
