You fly into a certain old military airport, Kalamata, and the complexes are just five star from the word go.
There's four golf courses.
We play two of them.
The hotels are great.
The weather's great.
Yeah.
Yeah, it's just a really, really good week.
The food's phenomenal as well, so it's a proper chilled-out week.
In a buggy, shorts, three rounds.
What's not to like about that, eh?
It is, and you spend the last five years.
Fortunately, I played up until I was 50, but...
It gets tough, you know, the fall of time calls on you a little bit and it gets tough when you turn 50 and you go on the seniors tour, you're now the youngster.
And then you've got a chance of winning again and competing again, which is, it gets the juices flowing, it gets you practising again.
And it's just evolution, isn't it?
It's just you get a bit too old, the young boys start bombing it and...
Now we're back with the older boys that you grew up with and you went to tour schools with and you played amateur with and stuff like that.
So it's really, it's been great to touch base with a lot of my old mates.
And do they enjoy a few scoops in the evening as well?
Yeah, it is a bit more relaxed.
