I think in the beginning, I'm just generally curious what's going on.

And a lot of my time is spent not knowing.

I think when I start with people, I'm listening to see what's there.

I think I would feel that if there was, as I suggested, indifference there.

if they almost were indifferent to each other.

But most of the people who get here are fighting.

They're upset.

They're in pain.

And from a therapist's point of view, that's great.

It sounds awful.

Yeah.

Well, it means they're motivated to change.

When people are unhappy, it means they want to change, and that's excellent.
