You can make points, of course.
Especially with the state of the world at the moment.
That's the problem, right?
There's a lot of noise out there, right?
A lot of noise coming at us from all directions.
And it's great that there are campaigns encouraging people to talk.
However, the people with the loudest voices are making a lot of the noise.
But where are the campaigns encouraging us all to listen more?
So my show is called Now We're Talking because it's my opportunity to talk for over an hour and you listen.
You just listen to me.
I think that there was always going... Laughter is a thing, the common thing that bonds everybody, yeah?
And it can be such a wonderful tool that can combine people of different backgrounds, different social beliefs, different political beliefs.
That's why I think laughter should transcend.
And I think in this world where we do hear lots of noise and lots of anger, it's quite easy to forget that at the essence, we're all human beings.
And that...
impulse to laugh, you can't fake it.
You know, it's either there or it's not.
And when I see my shows, some people say, well, you're not very political.
That is because the politics kind of writes itself.
