recession, but there's a risk of a recession, I think you'd rightly say.
That is the key point, isn't it, that recessions involve lots of job losses and we haven't had a massive increase in unemployment since Keating's recession in the early 90s.
I mean, even the GFC and COVID, I mean, well, it was temporary.
Everyone lost work with COVID.
But we haven't had big structural unemployment in Australia for 30-odd years.
So fingers crossed it stays that way.
