They think that no, you don't need certification, that knowledge uh they sort of misunderstand the presumptive goodness of awareness, Anubhava, as self-certified knowledge.
But Gangesha, he he uh whereas he you know he fights the skeptic on with with these pragmatic arguments that hey we need it, we could be wrong, we're not claiming that we know that we know that we know all the way up.
We are worth saying you give us you give us the evidence, we'll give up what what we claim.
Um but on the uh when it comes to arguing with these uh self-certificationalists.
Um
Mamamsika's and Vedanta is he uses doubt.
He says, Uh look, uh you you're walking along, you see uh you see a river in the distance.
And you and it is a river.
It's a river.
But
You're in unfamiliar territory.
You you don't you know you can doubt whether it's a river, even though your perception and as you walk up closer you see y you know, you've uh end up drinking the water from the river.
Ah and and you make the evidence.
Hey, if my perception had not been knowledge, I wouldn't be drinking this water right now.
