it's the one thing I can't get the sense of is if the scouting community online likes him more scouts like him more.

And I think it's somewhere where like, yeah, he's probably like, I could see him go as high as like 13, 14, but I can also see him fall as low as 25th because he's not the world's most creative player, but he's one of those guys.

would say like 600 700 games no problem because he's very reliable he's smart two-way guy um does a lot of things well and we watched him will kind of be the glue for some of the more fancy guys at the um the u18s i think that's also pretty impressive there so uh yeah interesting guy that 24 is not out of the equation it's just i would almost lean more

ahead of him being taken higher than that, given there's not a ton of great centers in this year's draft.

Watching that NTDP program in the last two years, I'd say maybe the only other guy that's got a better career path to the NHL, or the clearer path, I should say, is Wyatt Cullen.

And I think when you look at Casey Mutren, he's just a team player out there trying to make noise every single shift, doesn't matter who he's playing with.

He's more of a guy that you're really happy if he turns into be a third-line player.

seeing being a fourth line player that could be pushed up into certain situations but he's a type of guy that thrives in those tight important games because he wants to knock everybody down he wants to take you off his game off your game he's smart he's put a lot of power in his shot i would like to see him shoot more but he he's got that strength uh so yeah he's a guy that i could definitely see going late first early second and you being very happy about him like yeah like that you know

With those second-round picks the Canucks have, I think he's definitely one of those targets that they're going to be looking at, but there's going to be a lot of teams interested in him.

He was one of the guys who talked, I think, I don't remember the exact number of teams he talked to, but I think he was near the top in most teams talked to.

I'd be shocked.

I think there's a better chance of him going fifth, I think, than 24.

He's one of those guys where if he didn't play for the NTDP, which was just kind of like an offensive death pit this year,

He probably would have put up some insane numbers because he's very creative, so skilled, showed great chemistry pretty much with anyone he played with.

There's a lot of Jack Hughes two-way qualities in him, which is interesting as a guy who primarily plays the wing, can play a bit of center.
