And these two rinks are like within 25 minutes, 30 minutes from each other.
I plan to go to both.
But what's this NTDP team going to look like?
Because there's actually a lot of talent, but a lot of them are rumored to want out.
And that's where it gets really complicated.
If anything, you'd think some of these guys would try and fast-track their way to college, if anything, given how developments kind of change.
But I think with the Q, I think there's a lot of these Eastern-based American players that are still looking at this.
It's still the CHL, it's still a solid league, and I think a lot of teams are looking here, or players are looking like, hey, the Memorial Cup is probably, if you can get on a good Q team, it's probably your easiest way to get to the Memorial Cup.
Oh, that's a good point.
I think there's something where a lot of
agents and a lot of scouts said okay you look at keaton verhoff he could have probably put up 80 points in the whl and that would have maybe hid some of his flaws and he would have probably guaranteed himself a high draft pick i think for a lot of these players though it also showed okay maybe finding those flaws is actually way more important for our development and that might actually be the better idea so it'll be interesting i think with the ntp it's
you know, playing a lot of the USHL teams.
I know a lot of those, there's a lot of chatter about like how much longer the NTDP is going to exist.
Are they, should they move to the CHL?
Like what's going to happen?
Is the USHL going to be the fourth CHL league?
And is there going to be more intrasquad or,
interleague play like i don't think anyone really knows the future of this program it's kind of wild when you look at like like 2023 when you had will smith and ryan leonard gay pro trey augustine and z booyam and oliver moore like it was so many good talents and to see what it's been the last couple years like it's too bad that a guy like carter mayor is leaving because this year's program should be very good like at least better than the last two and to see them kind of just collapse like this it kind of sucks
Off the top of my head, yeah.
I haven't gotten that far yet, but I'd say, yeah, probably.
