Gabriel Bashir was also taking M to his police statement during questioning about the dinner and you know, sort of said that the only time that he has mentioned that he was kissed on the lips by Alan Jones was in his evidence in chief, which was in court, you know, earlier this week.
Um what did he say in his statement?

Um I look I do know from uh seeing Gabriel Bashir cross examine people that um if there is a minor difference between what you've said in court and your police statement, you will spend.
About an hour.
Just going over and over that, uh asked if you accept that there's a difference, etc etc.
So um yeah, we got a a bit of that.

Um The thing that stuck out with me about M's police statement though is that it didn't seem that initially he realised he was making one.

So yeah, instead of him kind of going in there, it's almost the other way around.
