Um this is a person who says, well, that complainant C says is at a lunch where complainant C alleges that Alan Jones has touched him on the thigh during that. matched

Um and it's not so much that this person didn't see anything occurring at that slunt at that lunch, it's just that they actually just don't remember a lunch at all. matched

It's interesting the the questions that the prosecution are asking this witness. matched

I mean, we've talked about the difference in, you know, style and I guess the difference in rules between uh the way the prosecution qu questions a witness in evidence in chief and the way that the defense is cross-examining a witness as well. matched

And you know, the the prosecution isn't able to challenge this witness by saying, You went to this lunch on this date, did you? matched

Because that's a closed question. matched

They have to ask these close open questions. matched

Questions, which is why they're asking these questions in the way that you've described, Isabel. matched

Do you remember going to a lunch with Jason Morrison, Alan Jones, and C and kind of like trying to, you know, prompt him and see what he recalls from from there? matched

Um, as you mentioned, this has stalled. matched

Um, sounds like friends of complainant C, and they seem to be backing up his story. matched

story of disclosing these allegations at a couple of points prior to uh making his complaint to police in in twenty twenty four. matched

I found it interesting, Isabel, I think it was the high school friend, the one you talked about, uh, in there, uh, not kind of knowing how to react when she disclosed that uh to him. matched

Um also a question, I think also one of the the work colleagues as well. matched

Um, kind of wondering, you know, placing it at a certain time because him thinking, Oh well, later in my career I would have probably actioned that or or done something more with it than when it was disclosed when I was, you know, in a slightly more matched
