As evidenced by when they're talking about early in the relationship, like, yeah, your son didn't really call me that much after I, you know, but like, you know, it was awkward and it was weird.

So I understood.

The idea of family, I think is something that he has romanticized, that she is now representative of.

And he's like, well, if that's what I need to do in order to have this family, then I will accept what's in front of me as is and dive into that.

I do think that, because I can't remember it all, but absent of Madison having the conversation that she has with Kevin in the finale of the episode, he would have gotten married.

And I think they would have had a decent marriage.

I think.

Yeah.

There's this thing, though, and then we'll segue out of it because I think we're at the end of the episode, but marriage as a romantic construct is a fairly new thing.
