Good time to sell.

Yeah.

We sold just prior to the dot-com bust.

So, Aussie Mail were acquiring us, and they got acquired by U-Net.

And halfway through that process, U-Net got acquired by MSI Worldcom.

So, we're in the middle of three acquisitions as we're getting purchased.

For the time, it was a good win, a 5 mil win, if you know what I mean, almost 5 mil.

That's a lot of money then.

Yeah, big time.

I had a business partner then as well, so we were 55% of that business.

And my mate Chris, he was 45, so still a good match for him.

Opportunity.

In 2016, the army asked me to get involved with their innovation program.

I was an ex-soldier boy, made good, I had a public profile.

I was two years on Shark Tank at that point.

Military PR job, come to Canberra, get a picture with the general, pat him on the head.

And that let me in the tent, so to speak.

I just saw this amazing capability that was being created through non-dilutive grants out of government.

It was just incredible.

It was like James Bond's weapons lab.
