You have to fight here because there's nothing behind us now, right?
And the number of people I sort of see who want to put their hands up and say, well, let's just go and play nice and let's just take our beatings politely.
They won't beat us as hard.
No, this is the place we should be fighting.
So because it is that bad, the reason it's that bad is because every other jurisdiction, most other jurisdictions in the world have a far better tax rate than New Zealand.
I often joke that when it happened, I thought, I can move to Queenstown, for example.
Because I've just lined in from Brisbane to Adelaide for this.
Well, it's actually probably closer than Adelaide.
Yeah.
That's the first thing I thought, right?
And so there are other jurisdictions out vying for this business at the same time.
One of the reasons I got really involved in the entrepreneur scene, I saw a really worrying trend back in 2011-12.

But when we listed our business back in 2005, 2006, we had to put all this IT infrastructure in place because there was an expectation we'd conduct our business at a certain corporate level of maturity, which is understandable.
So we had to have a big cluster of servers here and a big cluster of servers there.
And that cost us a $400,000 job to join these things together.
That's cool.
