I mean, Jacob Farrell, I suppose, is the same, isn't he?
Yeah, yeah.
He showed promise when he made his debut last season in the Sunshine against Sheffield United.
barely seen him since because of a string of injuries did play in I think he played in the the Reading game in the League Cup early season as did a few that haven't been seen since um
But, yeah, whether we'll see much of him again as well is a question.
I think, from memory, Waddingham is actually injured at the moment, not training, and I think possibly due to train again fairly soon.
I don't think he's out for the season or anything.
I think he's possibly available again soon.
So, you know, at the moment, there's still a chance for someone to come through and...
push themselves into that squad and into that team and prove themselves to be a bit of a goal scorer so there's an incentive for him but he might be a little way away from achieving that Does memory serve me correctly that Farrell was on the bench last time we fielded the team?
Yes I think he was he's been on the bench a couple of times hasn't he yeah but you know ideally we'd have had him
as cover for Conor Ogilvie ever since Ogilvie got injured, wouldn't we?
Coming in as an orthodox left-back.
We've coped quite well with Swanson and so on, covering that side.
But, yeah, again, Farrell, he's either going to need to do something quite soon or he'll be on his way at the end of the season.
If they're not, they're not doing their job, are they?
Because if England had won 4-1 in Australia and not lost 4-1, you can be sure that particularly the cricket fans among the English players here would be rubbing it in the other way around.
They wouldn't waste any time in not doing so, would they?
