say to the TV companies, no, actually, we don't want to give you as many games, but we don't want you to pay as much, or we don't expect you to pay as much.
They want as much as they can, don't they?
But equally, you might then say, well, what effect would that be on the club's wage bills and player budgets?
I just think it needs a big debate, a national debate with fan groups involved in it about how far we want to go with allowing TV to dictate when we're going to football.
you know the tv audiences i'm sure love all these live games but what about the people going to the games we want more more on saturdays we want more at three o'clock on saturdays and we want fewer changes and we want more notice of changes i think those would be the main points that i think a lot of people would agree with them i can't speak for everybody no but that's what i'm seeing what i'm hearing in terms of reaction well i guess it's not called the sky bet efl for nothing
well that's it yeah they have a lot of influence and a lot of they pay a lot of money and they have a lot of influence but do we you know how far down that route are we going to allow them to go
