Okay, so this is a real pivotal time in my life when I was learning how to listen to the Holy Spirit and follow through on what he said.
So it was one of those days where I had meetings that were stacked sort of like an hour at a time.
And I had a meeting with a lady in our community.
Quite frankly, I can't remember what it was, but the second she stepped into my office, the Holy Spirit just goes, pay for her mortgage.
And I was just like, what?
Like, what does that mean?
So I was like, that meeting was over in my mind.
My mind was just like, so I drive home in the evening and I tell Betsy, my wife, I said, man, you wouldn't believe what happened today when I met with this lady.
It was like, what happened?
And I said, like the Holy Spirit said, pay for their mortgage.
Like, what is that?
Like, what am I supposed to do with that?
And she goes, what do you think that means?
Well, that we're supposed to pay for it.
I said, I have no clue what the dollar figure is.
And she goes, well, do you think the Lord had asked you to like follow through on something that you couldn't do?
Well, okay, that's a good point, right?
Okay, so next day I'm driving back to work.
I text her and I go, we need to have a meeting.
She goes, well, I was just there yesterday.
