You know, to live in New Zealand is basically to sort of live in Waitangi Day every day.

It's that real.

This wasn't like that.

This wasn't as profound as that or serious as that.

It was obviously very serious for what was going on inside of that world or that courtroom.

But to people who weren't participating in it, who were just reading about it avidly or watching it or listening to it, it was a huge distraction.

It was a comedy and Phil was supplying the comedy.
