I'm addicted to calling bylaw on people that illegally park. So bylaw, I assume, is just, I guess you're calling the cops. important to provide the backstory to this addiction. So here I go. I live for dumb things like those mentioned in the efficient grocery lane email you had a few months ago. That guy and I would get along so well. I moved to a new house this past summer. I think that makes sense, even though I murdered that sentence. My previous house was a corner lot in a student neighborhood. Said corner was on a steep hill with a one-way stop sign.

I've attached a Street View photo of the corner for reference. I'll say people in general, but more likely students, constantly parked between the stop sign and my driveway. All right, so just think of a suburban neighborhood road coming out, stop sign, and then if you take a right turn, There's maybe 20 feet of curb. It's not straight. And then that goes directly into where his driveway is.

It's especially dangerous here as the park cars in the corner block the view of oncoming traffic coming up the hill while simultaneously forcing turning cars into the oncoming traffic lane. The space available at this corner barely fits a car anyway. So a lot of time the people a lot of time the front of the cars would be blocking a couple of feet in my driveway pissed me right off.

I wanted to see if cars parking at the corner would actually get tickets for parking there, and they sure did. I started filing a complaint every time I saw a car park there and probably netted my city close to $1,000 in parking ticket revenue. I fucking loved it.
